The specialized literature defines it as a methodology that promotes values and activates behaviors conveying valuable qualities on the basis of learning, engagement and direct action in the environment. Even though its close relation to altruism, cooperation, engagement, solidarity and a critical sense has been recognized, the potential connection between this methodology and the values of care and fraternity has not been dealt with.
